SJA Ford Model

Toy Model T Van Ford Ambulance, made by Lledo for Hailsham Division, St. John Ambulance, England. Die-cast metal with plastic parts, U.K., c. 1983-1999.

Lledo was a British company that made die-cast scale models (toys) of commercial vehicles. John William Odell, a co-founder of the Matchbox toy brand, and Burt Russell founded Lledo in 1983. Lledo mostly made toy vehicles for companies and organizations, which sold them as fundraisers. Several St. John Ambulance divisions in the U.K. commissioned Lledo toy vehicles.
